15 platforms, profiled
Every platform we track: what it does, who it fits, and what it costs.
Abrigo
Credit risk suite
Abrigo sells commercial underwriting as Sageworks Credit Risk Software, which spreads borrower financials, computes global cash flow, applies risk rating methods and generates standardized credit memos with the risk rating documentation behind them. AI assistants including Lending Assistant were announced available in September 2025, while the newer APX agentic platform was only expected to reach general availability in the third quarter of 2026.
Aloan
AI underwriting layer
Aloan is an AI underwriting product for commercial lenders that runs from borrower document intake through spreading, credit policy checks and credit memo generation to covenant monitoring, with every calculated figure traceable to its source document. It sells standalone or embedded in an existing loan origination system through REST APIs, and it publishes no named customers, having launched in March 2026.
Baker Hill
Commercial LOS
Baker Hill sells commercial loan origination and credit analysis to banks and credit unions, with covenants created during spreading, a dynamic credit memo populated from the workflow, and global debt service and global cash flow computed in the spreading module. Its platform is being renamed from NextGen to UN/FY without replacing it, and no Baker Hill AI feature carries a published availability date.
Finastra
Lending platform family
Finastra covers commercial lending through three separate products: LaserPro for community bank and credit union origination and documentation, with Analyze as its statement spreading component, Loan IQ for corporate and syndicated lending, and Originate for commercial application intake. LaserPro and Loan IQ were both retained in the June 2026 divestiture of Finastra's Phoenix core and related businesses.
HES LoanBox
Lending platform
HES LoanBox is a modular end-to-end lending platform covering onboarding, origination, AI decisioning, servicing and collections, with cloud, on-premises and white-label delivery. It names banks, credit unions and alternative lenders as buyers and claims commercial coverage through syndicated and CRE deals, but it publishes no named US bank or credit union customer.
Jack Henry LoanVantage
Bank-core LOS
LoanVantage is Jack Henry's digital loan origination system for banks and credit unions, and Jack Henry's commercial pages name C&I, CRE, secured, unsecured, ABL and SBA loan types with automated decisioning tools. Jack Henry publishes no LoanVantage product page and documents no spreading, credit memo, risk rating or covenant capability, so those questions have to be answered in a demo.
LoanPro
Lending infrastructure
LoanPro is an API-first lending platform covering origination, servicing, payments and collections at scale, with named support for merchant cash advances, equipment finance, business lines of credit and commercial term loans. Its strength is servicing infrastructure rather than credit analysis: nothing public shows statement spreading, global cash flow or credit memo generation.
Moody's Lending Suite
Lending suite
Moody's Lending Suite covers commercial origination, automated spreading and scoring, underwriting against Moody's own models and scorecards, credit memo generation and portfolio monitoring. Its generative AI credit memo is presented as available today, and buyers should confirm module by module what they are licensing, because the CreditLens name most of the market knows it by is retired and its URLs now return 404.
nCino
Commercial LOS
nCino runs commercial loan origination end to end on one cloud platform, with spreading, credit memo generation, policy-rule approvals and covenant tracking all named on its own pages. It is the most widely recommended commercial underwriting platform among AI assistants and the only vendor here with a dated general-availability statement on an AI product, Banking Advisor, generally available since 17 June 2024.
Provenir
Decisioning platform
Provenir is a decision intelligence and data orchestration platform with SME lending as a named vertical, offering automated real-time credit approvals for small-business lending at scale. It performs no financial statement spreading, debt service coverage analysis, covenant monitoring or credit memo generation, so it complements a commercial credit product rather than replacing one.
S&P Global Credit Memo Builder
Credit memo drafting
S&P Global Credit Memo Builder is an agentic AI product launched on 4 June 2026 that drafts credit decisioning reports from S&P's own ratings, research and financial data, with in-line citations to the exact source behind each statement. It is a memo drafting tool rather than an origination system: no borrower statement spreading, no risk rating on a bank's scorecards and no loan workflow are verified.
Scienaptic
Consumer decisioning
Scienaptic sells AI credit decisioning to credit unions and banks for consumer and retail lending, with fraud and anomaly detection at origination and vehicle loan pricing. It documents no commercial, business or member business lending capability, and no statement spreading, debt service coverage or business credit analysis appears anywhere on its site.
Taktile
Decision engine
Taktile is a general-purpose agentic decision platform that lets risk teams build and change automated decision workflows across onboarding, credit, fraud and claims. Business loan underwriting is one supported use case with a named small-business reference, but there is no packaged commercial lending module: no spreading, debt service coverage, covenants or credit memo.
TurnKey Lender
Lending platform
TurnKey Lender is an end-to-end lending platform covering origination, underwriting, servicing and collections with AI credit scoring, and it markets a distinct commercial edition for SME lending. It is US-headquartered in Austin with more than 200 clients across 50 or more countries, though its roster leans toward alternative and international lenders rather than US community banks.
Zest AI
Consumer decisioning models
Zest AI builds custom machine-learning underwriting models with adverse-action reason codes and fair-lending testing, delivered into a lender's existing origination system. Its own boilerplate defines its market as US consumer credit, and it documents no commercial capability: no statement spreading, no debt service calculation and no credit memo.
